The Dallas Mavericks dropped a virtual game to the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA 2K20 simulation on March 29. Find out more here.

The Dallas Mavericks were scheduled to host the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday. The Bucks have the best record in the NBA and have already clinched a playoff spot. Picking up a victory would have been a tall task for the Mavs.

Fans likely remember the lone meeting between the two teams this season. Fox Sports Southwest re-aired it on Sunday evening. The Mavericks traveled to Milwaukee to face the Bucks without Luka Doncic. He was sidelined with a sprained ankle. Kristaps Porzingis and Seth Curry stepped up and led the Mavs to a victory on Dec. 16. The Bucks have only lost two other home games all season. It was certainly a team effort for Dallas.

Nobody knows if the second meeting will ever take place. The NBA suspended its season. Right now there are more questions than answers about when play will resume and what the schedule will look like.

The live games may not be taking place, but the regular season is still happening on NBA 2K20. The video game is simulating the season as if it never stopped.

The Bucks picked up the virtual win on Sunday 120-112. That is the second straight loss for the Mavericks in the simulation. They dropped a game to Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz on Thursday.

The Mavs have not lost three consecutive games all year, so expect virtual Luka Doncic to have his men ready to face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
