The Dallas Mavericks are not taking the court right now. The NBA suspended its season because of the novel coronavirus on March 11. Even practice facilities are closed as the league attempts to do everything it can to stop the spread.

The Dallas Mavericks were supposed to host the Milwaukee Bucks on March 29. It would have been another challenge for Dallas against the team with the NBA’s best record.

Facing off in NBA 2K20 instead

With the game off, the two teams decided to take the action to NBA 2K20. They will be playing a 3-on-3 challenge. It is a best of five-of-series to determine the winner.

Seth Curry is the captain of the Mavericks squad. He will be joined by Dorian Finney-Smith and Antonius Cleveland. They will be taking on current Bucks Donte DiVincenzo, D.J. Wilson, and Cameron Reynolds.

Fans can watch the stream the showdown on the Mavericks Twitch channel. The action is scheduled to get underway at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday.
