The Dallas Mavericks hired Rick Carlisle to be their head coach in 2008. Dirk Nowitzki was in the middle of his prime, but the Mavs had lost in the first round of the playoffs for two straight seasons. Carlisle is now in the midst of becoming the greatest Mavericks coach in history.
He was the man at the helm during the franchise’s only championship in 2011. Carlisle also led the Mavs to the playoffs in seven of his first eight seasons. Now, he is beginning a second chapter with Luka Doncic as the star for Dallas.

It is important to stay safe and healthy during this difficult time. People also need to be active. No better way to accomplish that than practicing your shot. Coach Carlisle provides a fantastic way to accomplish it all here.
Hopefully, the NBA returns in short order. That is sounding unlikely at this moment. The suspension remains without a timetable. The league closed practice facilities on Friday likely a sign that everyone is looking at an extended layoff even if the season resumes at all.

Hopefully, fans get to see a conclusion of the 2019-2020 season. What can Dallas do in the playoffs? Will Luka have a superstar moment? Can Carlisle lead the Dallas Mavericks deep into the postseason? Hopefully, all those questions are answered later this summer.
