Dallas Mavericks forward Dorian Finney-Smith had 15 points against the San Antonio Spurs on March 10 in his return after missing two games.

The Dallas Mavericks got a massive boost on Tuesday evening when they traveled to face the San Antonio Spurs. Starter Dorian Finney-Smith was back in the lineup after missing two straight games with a hip injury. He was injured against the Pelicans on March 4. The Mavs split the pair of games he missed.

Finney-Smith plays a key role for the Mavs. He is their top perimeter defender and allows the Mavericks to switch on defense. DFS also provides valuable floor spacing and an improved dribble-drive game.

Finney-Smith made his presence felt against the Spurs. He was tasked with guarding DeMar DeRozan from the opening tip. The 26-year-old forward limited him to 13 points on five of 12 from the field. DeRozan had 12 assists and five rebounds on Tuesday night, though.
