Mavericks dominate Grizzlies behind 26 points from Kristaps Porzingis

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Memphis Grizzlies on March 6 behind a 26-point performance from center Kristaps Porzingis.
The Dallas Mavericks continued their homestand on Friday night against the Memphis Grizzlies. They were looking for their second straight win and to snap the Grizzlies three-game win streak.
The Mavs were without Tim Hardaway Jr. He was out with an illness. THJ could be back in the Mavericks next game on Sunday. Courtney Lee drew the start in his place and finished with 13 points on six field goal attempts.
Dallas jumped out to an early and never looked back. The Mavericks picked up a 121-96 victory at the American Airlines Center. It was an impressive performance against a Grizzlies squad that is fighting for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Kristaps Porzingis led the way for the Mavs. He finished with 26 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and four blocks in 29 minutes of action. KP rested for the final four minutes because Dallas had the game in hand as well.
Porzingis had multiple monster dunks on Friday night. His willingness to attack the rim has opened up the Mavericks offense. Here is a look at KP’s best plays from March 6.
Luka Doncic chipped in 21 points, four rebounds, six assists, and two steals in 30 minutes against the Grizzlies. Seth Curry also had 15 points on nine field goal attempts. It was an incredible all-around performance from the Mavericks.

The Mavs wrap up their homestand on Sunday against the Indiana Pacers. They head to San Antonio after that before returning home for two straight. The Mavericks are hoping to win three of their next four as the schedule softens a bit.
