Storyline to follow: Can the Mavs slow down Zion?
The Pelicans have yet to play a back-to-back set since Zion Williamson returned from injury. It will be worth monitoring if the Pelicans rest him on Wednesday.
Nobody has been able to slow the rookie down. He is averaging 24.1 points per over his first 15 NBA games. Williamson is shooting 59.3 percent from the field. He is an incredible dunker and an impressive athlete.
It will be interesting to see how the Mavericks defend against him on Wednesday night. Expect Kristaps Porzingis and Maxi Kleber to draw the opening cracks at slowing down Zion. Stay tuned to see how that works out.
