The Dallas Mavericks will win at least one championship if Kristaps Porzingis can stay healthy according to Max Kellerman. Hear more from his visit to The Woj Pod.

The Dallas Mavericks have been one of the NBA’s surprise teams this season. Few expected them to be this good or to have a playoff spot virtually locked up before the All-Star break.

The pairing of Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis is just hitting its stride too. They have been good all season, but KP is finally returning to form after missing nearly 20 months of action with a torn ACL. The Mavs are also using him more in the pick and roll with Luka which is creating an impossible to stop offense.

Max Kellerman joined Adrian Wojnarowski on The Woj Pod to discuss a host of NBA topics. They dive deep into the Sixers, Knicks, and plenty more. Fans can listen to the entire episode here.

Kellerman high on Mavs

The two men begin discussing Kristaps Porzingis and the Dallas Mavericks towards the end of the episode. Kellerman shares plenty of interesting takes on them. He notes that if KP stays healthy, he believes Dallas wins at least one championship. Mavericks supporters have to listen.

They have an incredibly high ceiling. Luka Doncic is already one of the best players in the NBA. He is leading the Mavs to the playoffs, and he just turned 21 on Friday. Porzingis is the perfect complement to Luka. He anchors the defense, spaces the floor, and has the ability to take over and be the number one option when necessary. That is a recipe for success in Dallas for the next decade-plus.

Hopefully, Kellerman is spot on. Bring the championship back would be amazing. Fans should enjoy the ride with their two young stars. It promises to be exciting for the foreseeable future.
