Storyline to follow: Doncic vs. Young
Everyone will be talking about the matchup between Luka Doncic and Trae Young on Saturday night. The two players will be forever linked after a 2018 draft night trade saw them swapped for each other. Both were first-time All-Stars this year.
Young is fresh off dropping 50 points on the Miami Heat. He is a gifted scorer and shooter but struggles on the defensive end. Expect the Mavs to exploit that weakness on Saturday night.
Luka Doncic will be looking to have another monster performance. He missed the first meeting against the Hawks this season, but Jalen Brunson dropped 27 points in his place. The Mavericks won that game 123-100. They will be looking to repeat the feat on Feb. 22.
