By Tyler Watts
Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic will miss the Feb. 10 game against the Utah Jazz, but he could still play in the All-Star game. Get the latest here.
The Dallas Mavericks have been without Luka Doncic for six straight games. The 20-year-old star injured his ankle in practice on Jan. 30. The team was quick to rule him out for at least six contests. That has now passed.
The Mavs did well in his absence. They won three games and kept pace in the Western Conference. The team is hoping to climb up the standing with their MVP candidate back on the floor.
The Dallas Mavericks only have two games left before the All-Star break. Will Luka Doncic return for either game? Here is the latest update.
Out vs. Jazz
Tim MacMahon shared the following news shortly after the NBA’s official injury report dropped on Sunday afternoon.
Mavericks fans want nothing more than Luka back in the lineup. It was a bit concerning that the team ruled him out so early. There were more than 24 hours to go until tipoff. The Mavs have no reason to rush their young star, though.
They host the Sacramento Kings on Feb. 12 in their final game before the break. Hopefully, Doncic is healthy enough to play.
Fans should be on the lookout for a Luka Doncic injury update. He is expected to start in both the All-Star and Rising Stars games next weekend. Luka will not participate in any of the All-Star Saturday night events, though. Nobody wants to see him miss his first All-Star game, but the Mavs need him healthy for the stretch run.
