The Dallas Mavericks had won five of their last six entering Saturday’s game against the Utah Jazz. The Jazz are one of the hottest teams in the NBA winning 18 of their last 20. Playing in Utah is always difficult, but the Mavs were ready for the challenge.

The Mavericks led for the majority of the game, but it was not enough. They struggled shooting late as the Jazz picked up the 112-107 victory. Donovan Mitchell came up clutch with 25 points. Rudy Gobert had 22 points, 17 rebounds, and five blocks including a key swat late on a Delon Wright drive. Bojan Bogdanovic also chipped in 23 points for the Jazz.

Seth Curry got hot for Dallas. He had 19 points on nine field goal attempts. Curry hit four of five 3-pointers and gave the starting lineup a boost.

Kristaps Porzingis struggled with fouls. He only played 25 minutes finishing with 15 points, two rebounds, one steal, and one block. Maxi Kleber was also in foul trouble allowing Boban Marjanovic to log six minutes.

Luka Doncic once again led the way for the Dallas Mavericks. The All-Star starter finished with 25 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in 36 minutes of action.
