Storyline to follow: Nuggets solving Luka?

Luka Doncic has played 32 games so far this season. He has scored 20 points in all but three of those. In one, he was injured less than two minutes into the game and never returned. The Lakers held him to 19 points on Dec. 29. The only other time he scored under 20 was Oct. 29 against the Nuggets. He had just 12 points in that game.

It furthered a trend. Luka has struggled in his three games against Denver. He averages 19.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 8.7 assists. Doncic is shooting 36.0 percent from the field, 21.7 percent on his 3-pointers, and 66.7 percent from the foul line.

Are the Nuggets the only team that can slow down Luka? Wednesday’s game is another opportunity for them to prove that is the case. It is worth watching.
