The Dallas Mavericks return home to face the San Antonio Spurs on Dec. 26. Here is everything fans need to know about that contest.

The Dallas Mavericks are fresh off a disappointing loss in Toronto. They had a 30-point lead on the defending champs before the Raptors stormed back for the improbable victory. The Mavs will be looking to right the ship on Thursday evening.

The San Antonio Spurs come to Dallas for a division showdown. This will be the second meeting of the season. Dallas won the first 117-110 on Nov. 18 behind a 40-point triple-double from Luka Doncic.

Thursday’s contest begins at 8:00 p.m. ET or 7:00 p.m. local time in Dallas.

Injury update

The NBA’s official injury report lists Luka Doncic as questionable for the Dallas Mavericks. He is recovering from a sprained ankle. Doncic put in a full practice on Tuesday, but the team wanted to see how he responded before determining his status for Thursday’s game.

The Spurs have no injuries to report heading in. They are remarkably healthy at this point in the season.
