The Dallas Mavericks earned their 12th win of the season against the Suns on Friday night. It was a complete performance orchestrated by Luka Doncic. The 20-year-old had 42 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists in Phoenix.

The Mavericks continue their road trip on Sunday afternoon against the Los Angeles Lakers. It is a battle between two of the best teams in the conference. The Lakers are leading the West at 15-2. Dallas is tied for fourth heading in.

The Lakers are a -6.5 favorite courtesy of the Action Network. That should not be a surprise since they are at home and have won ten straight. The Mavericks will be looking to pull the upset on Sunday afternoon.

The first meeting was an epic showdown. Luka had a 31-point triple-double. James countered with a 39-point triple-double in the Lakers overtime win. Expect another instant classic on Sunday afternoon.
