Odds
The Mavericks opened at -6.5 according to The Action Network. That number has risen to -7.5 as of this writing. The Magic playing on the second night of a back-to-back impacts the odds. Dallas is expected to win handily this evening.
Injury update
According to the Mavericks game notes injury report, Maxi Kleber is listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game with a knee contusion. He missed their win over the Cavs on Sunday. Coach Carlisle reported he went through practice on Tuesday. Supporters will have to check on his status closer to tipoff.
Mo Bamba will be out for the Magic as they rest him on the second of a back-to-back. Orlando looks to be healthy and ready for action otherwise.
Be sure to check the news just before tipoff for any late-breaking information on either team.
Storyline to follow: Can Luka make it three straight?
Luka Doncic has produced two straight triple-doubles. In each, he had at least 29 points, 13 rebounds, and 15 assists. Can the 20-year-old star continue that production against the Magic?
Orlando will likely use Jonathan Isaac to try to stop Luka. The 22-year-old has length, but no player can slow Doncic if he remains hot. The Mavs star needs at least 13 assists and eight rebounds to be averaging a triple-double for the season. Consider it a possibility against the Magic.
Next. 5 Mavs most likely to be traded this season
Dallas Mavericks supporters should be locked in on the game. The team has a chance to win their fifth game of the young season. That would place them firmly in the top-four in the West. The Mavs have the schedule advantage too. Hopefully, they can secure a victory and give fans plenty to cheer about on Nov. 6.
