The Dallas Mavericks released their preseason schedule yesterday. The first game will be played on October 8th against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game will be played in Tulsa, OK.

The NBA preseason is just weeks away as the schedules have now been released. The Dallas Mavericks will have a total of five preseason games, starting on October 8th and ending on October 17th. The first regular season game will then take place six days later on the 23rd against the Washington Wizards.

The Mavs will open the preseason against the new-look Oklahoma City Thunder on the 8th. The game will take place in Tulsa, which is about an hour and a half northeast of Oklahoma City. The game will be at 7:00pm central time and will be televised on ESPN.

The second preseason game is against the Detroit Pistons on October 9th. The game will be played in Detroit at 6:00pm central time and will be televised locally on Fox Sports Southwest. This will be a bit of a preview for the Mavericks and Pistons game taking place on December 12th when the two teams play in Mexico City.

The third game will be against the defending top-seed in the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks. Although I wouldn’t count on seeing Giannis Antetokounmpo in this one, it will be the Mavericks first home game of the preseason, taking place on October 11th. Starting at 7:30pm central time, the game will be televised locally once again on Fox Sports Southwest.

Next up, the Mavs meet again with the Oklahoma City Thunder, this time in Dallas. The Mavs and Thunder will meet at the American Airlines Center on October 14th for the next to last preseason game. This one will also take place at 7:30pm central time and will once again be televised on Fox Sports Southwest.

The final preseason game for Dallas will be against the Los Angeles Clippers and will take place in Vancouver, Canada at Rogers Arena. The Mavs have not played a game in Vancouver since the Grizzlies were still located there. This game will take place on October 17th at 9:30pm central time. This game will be televised locally on Fox Sports Southwest and nationally on NBATV.

Next. 3 Mavericks that could fill the 6th man role

The Mavs preseason should be full of entertainment and will be a great buildup for the season just days after the final matchup with the Clippers. For all Mavericks related news, be sure to keep up with us here and on Twitter at @TheSmokingCuban.
