Seth Curry gave his fans a little sneak peak at how his summer preparation is going so far and the Dallas Mavericks should be very excited about what he will be for the team this coming season.

When the Dallas Mavericks let Seth Curry leave and sign with the Portland Trail Blazers after the 2017-18 season in which he didn’t play, most Mavs fans were pretty upset, feeling like we waited all that time for him to come back from injury just to let him walk away and play for another team. The Mavs reasoning made some sense, but it was still frustrating.

Now, just one season later, Dallas has brought back the sharpshooter, this time on a 4-year deal. Curry had his best statistical season with the Mavs in 2016-17 and Rick Carlisle is hoping to bring that back for several more years going forward. Curry is ready to prove that his 4-year, $32 million contract was a worthy investment.

Yesterday, Seth was filmed playing a 5-on-5 pickup game with several other NBA players, including Ben Simmons. This was at the same gym that Simmons was seen hitting three-pointers earlier this summer. Curry made a few more than Simmons did in this round of pickup.

Curry is projected to come off the bench for the Mavericks this year, but don’t be surprised if he becomes the 6th man for the team and a serious candidate for 6th Man of the Year across the NBA. If his shot continues to be as consistent as it has been over the past few seasons, he could very well be considered the best three-point shooter in the NBA.

Another four years of Seth Curry in a Mavs uniform may be just what the doctors ordered and I assumed Curry is excited to be back in the city that gave him his best year yet. Will Curry help the Mavericks make a playoff run this year? We will find out in just a few short months.
