Dallas Mavericks: Jason Terry is excited about the Mavs this season

Dallas Mavericks legend Jason Terry shared his thoughts on the team’s new star duo in a recent interview. Hear his excitement here.
The Dallas Mavericks are preparing for the 2019-2020 season. They have the reigning Rookie of the Year in Luka Doncic. The team will also feature former All-Star Kristaps Porzingis.
Mavs fans are excited about their new duo. Both have superstar potential. Expect it to take some time for them to mesh. Porzingis has not played in an NBA game since Feb. 2018. There will be a bit of rust early in the year. There will be adjustments to playing with another capable 20-plus point per game scorer too.
That does not stop the excitement, though. Mavericks great Jason Terry did an interview with Fanatics View when the Big 3 came to Dallas. He discussed a multitude of topics, but Mavs supporters can’t miss his thoughts on the pairing of Luka and KP.

The Jet in Dallas
Jason Terry was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in 1999. They traded him to the Mavericks in Aug. 2004. Terry was an important member of the team for the next eight seasons. He averaged 16.1 points, 4.1 assists, and 1.2 steals in 32.7 minutes per game with the Mavs. The Jet was also the Sixth Man of the Year in 2009 and a key member of the Mavericks championships squad in 2011.
Fans will remember that Dallas does not win that title without Terry. He was lights out in the finals against LeBron James and the Miami Heat.
The Jet’s optimism about the current Dallas Mavericks should have fans excited. The front office is potentially building something special. Having two potential All-Stars under the age of 25 is a luxury Mavs’ supporters should not take for granted.
