The Dallas Mavericks completed a surprising move when they signed Boban Marjanovic this summer. The contract is for two years and $7 million in total.

The Mavs needed a reserve center capable of crashing the glass and excelling as a roll man. Boban fits that bill, but the parties had not been linked. Marjanovic turns 31 on Aug. 15. He will fill the role held by Salah Mejri last season.

Boban brings the laughs
