Dallas Mavericks supporters can check out the team’s official 2019-2020 season schedule for the first time right here including a look some notable games.

The Dallas Mavericks are kicking off their first season without Dirk Nowitzki since 1998 this fall. The Mavs GOAT retired after 21 seasons all with Dallas.

The team will now be in the hands of 20-year-old star Luka Doncic. The point forward is coming off a season where he averaged over 21 points per game and won the Rookie of the Year. The Mavericks’ decision-makers traded for Kristaps Porzingis to be the team’s second star. There is plenty to be excited about in Dallas.

First game

The Mavericks are hosting the Washington Wizards on Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m. CT to kick it off.

The Mavs opener will have plenty of intrigue this season. It will be the team’s first regular-season game with Porzingis in the lineup. Fans will get their first look at Delon Wright. The return of Seth Curry and his floor spacing could also be a story. Luka’s flair for the dramatic could end up stealing the show, though.

Porzingis returns to New York

It is worth noting that the Mavs play 13 national TV games this season. They also face LeBron James and Anthony Davis’ Lakers for the first time at home on Nov. 1. There will be plenty more on the schedule release written about in the coming days.
