Dallas Mavericks fans can get a different look at some of the team’s best dunks from the 2018-2019 season after they used freeze-frame on them.
Dallas Mavericks fans got a lot of pleasant surprises during the 2018-2019 season. The biggest was the play of Luka Doncic. Nobody expected him to take the NBA by storm as a teenage rookie. Doncic made his teammates better and improved the Mavs play overall.
He also upped the team’s highlights. Luka’s combination of passing, shooting, and scoring opened the floor for the Mavericks. That gave Dallas supporters plenty to cheer about during his first season.
The NBA is celebrating Dunk Week. The Dallas Mavericks have been getting in on the fun and putting out all the team’s best dunks from last season. They took it to another level by throwing in freeze-frame on July 25.
The video shows off Luka’s ball handling ability. The 20-year-old is a special talent that should only improve. Doncic is increasing his conditioning to take on a larger workload during his second season. That could mean averaging 35 minutes per game and being on nightly triple-double watch.
Mavs fans should be excited about the team’s future. Luka should be an All-Star in 2020. Kristaps Porzingis will also play his first game with the Mavericks after signing a five-year max contract this offseason. The team is also hoping for improvements from their role players. Dallas is a dark horse playoff contender in the coming season. They should only improve too.
The Dallas Mavericks will have an outstanding highlight reel this year. The Doncic and Porzingis pick and pop should be unstoppable. That should create plenty of space on the floor for dunks and alley-oops.
