The Dallas Mavericks are using the offseason to improve on the basketball court and help the community. The front office is determining the best free agents to add to improve the roster. The players are already back in the gym working on their games. They are also taking the time to do some charity work.

No Maverick does more for the community than Dwight Powell. He is always lending a hand and making Dallas a better place. Monday was no different.

Powell paints a gym

The 6’11 big man went to the Voice of Hope in Dallas to help paint their gym on June 3. Voice of Hope is non-profit organization that is an after school program for children. Powell shared a personal story about his time in a similar program in the following video.
