Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic has exceeded all expectations so far in his NBA career. He averaged over 21 points per game, swept the Rookie of the Month awards, and narrowly missed being an All-Star. Luka is still only 20 years old too.
Two things Doncic is not short on is experience and accolades. He has played professional basketball since he was 14. During his time at Real Madrid, Luka won the EuroLeague MVP and was named EuroLeague Rising Star twice. The young man has always stood out on the basketball court. Expect that to continue when he picks up the Rookie of the Year award in June.
Triple-doubles
Luka Doncic can do a bit of everything on the basketball court. He averaged 7.8 rebounds and 6.0 assists a game as a rookie to go along with his scoring prowess. That puts him the running for a triple-double every game.

Going further, Luka is fourth in triple-doubles for players under 21 years old. Doncic has until February 2020 to move up on this list. He trails only LeBron James (9), Ben Simmons (12), and Magic Johnson (13).
