What is Dirk doing in his retirement? Well, the legend was back at the American Airlines Center on April 15 supporting the Dallas Stars. It was the Stars first home playoff game in 2019. They are facing the Nashville Predators in the opening round of the NHL postseason. The two teams split the first two games in Nashville before the series shifted to Dallas on Monday evening.

Final thoughts
Dirk Nowitzki and J.J. Barea led the Dallas Mavericks contingent in supporting the Dallas Stars on April 15. The Stars lost 3-2 and trail in the series two games to one. They play again at the American Airlines Center on Wednesday.
Dirk Nowitzki had a magical ending to his 21 year NBA career. The fact that he only played for the Dallas Mavericks is a testament to Dirk’s character. The legend went out with a 30-point performance in his final home game before securing a 20 and ten double-double against the Spurs in his last contest. Dirk is the Dallas Mavericks, and he will be missed.
