The Dallas Mavericks acquired Justin Jackson from the Sacramento Kings in the Harrison Barnes trade on Feb. 6. The second-year forward has played in every game since joining the Mavs, but his minutes have been inconsistent.
The Mavericks hosted the Philadelphia 76ers on April Fool’s Day. It was the second of a back-to-back for Dallas. They were coming off a road victory against the playoff-bound Oklahoma City Thunder. The Mavs were also without Luka Doncic for the second straight game with a leg injury.
Justin Jackson led the Dallas Mavericks in scoring on Monday evening. He had 24 points with six rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes. Jackson shot seven of 11 from the field and seven of eight on his free throws. It was a dominating 122-102 victory for the Mavs on April 1.
