Dallas Mavericks news: Luka Doncic returns to practice and more

Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic practiced on Monday but is questionable for the Nov. 6 game against the Washington Wizards and more Mavs news.

The Dallas Mavericks provided plenty more injury news leading into Tuesday’s game against the Washington Wizards.  That will be the focus of today’s article plus some interesting stats about the matchup.

Coach Carlisle addressed the media after Monday’s practice to share his thoughts on the statuses of Luka Doncic and Devin Harris for Tuesday’s contest.  The Mavs official Twitter account provides the video below.

The Mavericks are looking to end a six-game losing streak, and they are going to need Doncic in the lineup to do so.  Hopefully, the 19 year old is ready to go this evening.

The GOAT shoots at practice

Dirk Nowitzki was spotted getting up shots at practice including some where he was running.  Fans can check out that video below.

The legend is still a few weeks away from playing in a game, but is good to see him back on the court nailing jumpers.  Stay tuned for updates on Dirk’s status as they become available.

Mavs have history on their side

Dallas is facing off against a Wizards team that is also struggling.  Washington has two wins in nine games on the season.  They too have lost five of their last six.  Couple that with these stats courtesy of Eddie Sefko.

The Mavericks have home court advantage as well.  The numbers firmly point to a Mavs victory, but the game still has to be won on the court.
