Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki was spotted putting up some shots before the Oct. 29 game against the San Antonio Spurs and more Mavs news.
Dallas Mavericks fans got a glimpse of something they have not witnessed lately. Dirk Nowitzki put up some shots during the pregame on Monday in San Antonio. That is a welcomed sight for Mavs fans.
Dirk been out all season after he suffered a setback in his recovery from April ankle surgery. Expect an update this week on when Nowitzki could potentially return to game action. The Mavs official Twitter released a video of the legend shooting which fans can watch below.
Spalding to the G-League
The Mavericks made an announcement on the status of rookie Ray Spalding on Oct. 29. Here is the news courtesy of Bobby Karalla.
The move should not come as a surprise. Spalding played just one minute with the Mavs before Monday’s game. He is behind Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber who are playing fantastic off the bench in Dallas. Spalding should see significant minutes with the Texas Legends and that should aid in his development. Keep an eye on how the rookie performs in the G-League this season.
