Dallas Mavericks sensation Luka Doncic participated in an event where local fans showed massive love and more Mavs news.
The Dallas Mavericks held a fan event on Saturday. MFFL’s had the opportunity at a meet and greet with rookie Luka Doncic, and fans did not miss out on the opportunity to show the young Slovenian some love.
Doncic’s fantastic early play has Mavs fans ecstatic. He has the look of a future NBA star through five games. Doncic is averaging 20.4 points per game with 6.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists. Those numbers likely only increase as the season progresses.

Doncic is clearly going to be a fan favorite in Dallas for the foreseeable future.
DSJ back on Sunday?
The Mavs played without starting point guard Dennis Smith Jr. on Friday in Toronto. DSJ suffered an ankle injury in Wednesday game. He was a late scratch but sounds hopeful to return on Sunday when the Mavs host the Jazz.
Dwain Price shared this quote from Smith Jr. about playing in today’s game.
Dennis Smith Jr. on not playing tonight because of a sprained right ankle. "I couldn’t move the way I wanted to and I was uncomfortable. I should be ready for next game.." @dallasmavs

Keep an eye on the second year point guard’s status as tipoff approaches against the Jazz.
