In yet another addition to the Dallas Mavericks training camp roster, the Mavs have signed Codi Miller-McIntyre, formerly with Wake Forest and Parma Basket of the Russian League. This makes yet another addition to the Mavs team leading up to training camp and preseason ball.

To put it simply, the Dallas Mavericks have a lot more players than they do roster spots right now. And that is exactly how Mark Cuban and Rick Carlisle like to do things. The latest in this never-ending list of players that will be joining the Mavs prior to training camp is Codi Miller-McIntyre, who played his college ball at Wake Forest.

This signing will likely be a non-guaranteed contract as the Mavs increase their roster count leading up to training camp. Miller-McIntyre will likely not be fighting for a roster spot as the Mavs have four rookies and numerous veterans to fill out the 15-man final roster before the season starts.

During his time at Wake Forest, Codi Miller-McIntyre played four years. Although he was a regular starter for all four of his college seasons, Codi was at his best in his sophomore and junior years. During those two years he averaged 13.6 points and 4.3 assists per game from the point guard position.

His other two years with Wake Forest were pretty underwhelming but he left with career averages of 11.4 points, 3.8 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game. He did not shoot the three ball or the free throw particularly well during his time at Wake Forest. He was more successful playing overseas in the Russian League.

The Dallas Mavericks do not need anymore point guards on the roster and will already have a bit of a logjam at the position due to too many guards on the roster. I do not think that Codi Miller-McIntyre will have a roster spot with the Mavs, but we wish him nothing but the best of luck this year.
