41. . . PF. Omari Spellman. 28

MANNY: The Golden State Warriors don’t need much help from the draft, but they will likely end up snagging an incredibly great young talent in Omari Spellman. Unfair, I know. Spellman is just the type of player the Warriors can add to their reserve unit.

At 6’9” 260 pounds, Spellman has great range, converting on 43 percent of his three-point attempts last season at Villanova. Not to mention, he grabbed eight rebounds per contest, while scoring 10.9 points and adding 1.5 blocks. A lengthy wing defender that can knock it down from long distance has Golden State written all over it.

147. . . PG/SG. Troy Brown. 29

KOHL: The Brooklyn Nets need a lot of help across the board and don’t really have a specific position in need. That works out perfectly for this pick because Troy Brown is big and athletic enough to play multiple positions, giving him a chance to contribute to the team right away.

Brown has been mocked in the mid-to-late teens in a lot of drafts and yet here he is at 29. This shows that there is a lot of high upside to the youngster from Oregon. Brown will be able to contribute on both ends of the court for Brooklyn but his strength appears to be on the defensive side. Still, his playmaking ability makes him a desirable player to have, especially this late in the draft.

125. . . PG. Elie Okobo. 30

SEAN: At pick thirty, I think the Hawks take a chance on French prospect Elie Okobo. Okobo is a good shooter and scorer but needs to develop more as a distributor. The future of Dennis Schroder’s career in Atlanta appears to be murky given recent reports. This would provide the Hawks with an insurance policy if they do decide to trade Schroder.

Okobo would not be forced to create for teammates as often when playing next to our other selection, Luka Doncic. This would be a risky pick for a team with not much to lose. Okobo has a chance to be electric in the league if his development is handled right.

The NBA Draft could turn out exactly like this, but chances are that it will look nothing like this. Either way, this is just a taste of one way we could see it all turning out on June 21st.
