Dallas Mavericks Look to Bounce Back in Milwaukee
By Sean Bush
The Dallas Mavericks look to respond against the Bucks tonight following their loss Wednesday night to the Boston Celtics.
The Dallas Mavericks will take on the Milwaukee Bucks tonight in the 2nd game of their three game road trip.
After a rough start to the season, Dallas has found a way to win five of their last nine games and hope to keep their positive momentum going tonight.
The last time these two teams met this season, the Mavericks crushed the Bucks 111-79 and found a way to frustrate Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo all night. The defensive effort must be there once again against the young Greek star if Dallas wants any chance of leaving Milwaukee with a victory.
Now over 30% of the way through the regular season, the Mavericks find themselves sitting in last place in the Western Conference. If the players cannot find a way to start righting the ship soon, then it may be time to start looking toward the draft soon.
Of the Mavericks’ thirteen games remaining in December, nine of them are against teams with winning records.
The Mavericks are going to have to beat playoff-caliber teams like the Bucks sooner rather than later in order to make up some of the ground that has been lost thus far this season. I will actually be attending the game in Milwaukee so I will do my best to represent Mavs nation at the Bradley Center.
