Best NBA Free Agency: Golden State Warriors

What the Golden State Warriors did in free agency this summer could have solidified the next true dynasty for the next multiple years.

Everything hinged on the Warriors’ bringing back their two best players in Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant and they did exactly that. Curry came back on his five-year, max contract while Durant came back on a large deal, but notably left money on the table to keep the team intact.

Because of Durant’s financial sacrifice, Golden State was able to bring back both Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala. In addition to them, the Warriors also brought back Zaza Pachulia and JaVale McGee.

Basically, they brought back the squad, but they didn’t stop there. They also went out and signed veteran wings in Omri Casspi and Nick Young.

The rich got richer and that’s why they won free agency.

Runner-Up: Minnesota Timberwolves
