The Dallas Mavericks traded Boban Marjanovic to the Houston Rockets in the Christian Wood deal to kick off the offseason, but the 7’4 big man is still a fan favorite. Bobi lights up the room, and he always handing out smiles everywhere he goes. The Mavs will miss him next season.

Tobias Harris played with Bobi for three straight years on three different teams, and the duo became best friends. Marjanovic signing in Dallas in 2019 broke them up, and Harris would get playfully upset with how much time Marjanovic spent with Luka Doncic. Boban’s close relationship with the Mavericks superstar made trading him to Houston even more surprising.

Bobi and Tobi are a special tandem. Harris caused some confusion on social media on Aug. 6 after he shared a message with his followers that he was hilariously forced to clarify.

Harris got married on Aug. 6, and he shared his excitement on the morning of with the following Tweet.

Fans were quick to chime in about the Sixers forward marrying Boban, so Tobias clarified the Tweet two minutes later with this.

Bobi and Tobi are still comedy gold. From their goldfish commercials to just going back and forth on social media, the duo always provides a laugh. Congratulations go out to Tobias Harris on getting married, but sadly, it was not to Boban.

Dallas Mavericks fans will miss little things like this most this season. Boban Marjanovic will be fighting for a roster spot on the Houston Rockets during training camp, but the Mavs cannot sign him for one year from the trade unless he is traded to another team first. There will be no Boban reunion this season, but Marjanovic will be providing laughs in some NBA locker room. Maybe he will rejoin Tobias Harris in Philadelphia if he hits the open market.
