They are a young team with plenty of depth and size. Minnesota owns Dallas on paper, as they own the head-to-head matchup with a 3-1 record. In their most recent performance against the Mavs, the Timberwolves defeated Dallas by 34 points. Both Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic did not play.

However, things could be different this time around. Doncic and Irving are both healthy and playing at a high level. Second, the team had yet to trade for big men Daniel Gafford and P.J. Washington.
