The Dallas Mavericks were run off the floor on the second night of a back-to-back by the Nuggets in Denver last time out as the loss snapped a three-game winning streak and put Luka Doncic at 3-2 after their first five games.

Dallas will be looking to bounce back on Sunday as they return home to host the Sacramento Kings. The Kings dominated the Mavs last season, and fans know Luka wants nothing more than to lift his team to victory on Halloween.

There are plenty of reasons for fans to tune in to Sunday’s contest. Here is a look at how and why they should watch.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Sacramento Kings: Injury updates

The Mavs listed both Kristaps Porzingis (back) and Sterling Brown (ankle) as questionable for Sunday’s game on the NBA’s official injury report. Both men have missed the team’s last two games, and will likely be game-time calls. They are the only two players listed on the Mavericks report.

The Kings are healthy entering Sunday's game, but have four players on G League assignment. Louis King, Neemias Queta, Jahmi'us Ramsey, and Robert Woodward are all with the Stockton Kings as they gear up for their season.

Fans should be sure to check Twitter just before tipoff for the latest on Kristaps Porzingis' back and any late-breaking injury news.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Sacramento Kings storyline to watch: Luka in afternoon games

The Mavs played four afternoon tipoffs last season, including two in the playoffs against the LA Clippers. In those games, Luka Doncic averaged 34.3 points, 12.0 assists, 10.5 rebounds, and 1.0 steal on 48.0 percent shooting the field.

The 22-year-old has a bit of extra energy for these contests because they are in primetime in Europe. All of Doncic’s Slovenia and Spanish fans are tuning in to see him, and he does not want to disappoint.

Will the matinee tipoff change the Mavs fortunes against the Kings? Sacramento swept the season series last year, despite two 30-point performances from Luka. Does head coach Luke Walton have the Mavs number or will they get some revenge at the American Airlines Center on Sunday?

Fans will not want to miss this contest as the Dallas Mavericks look to start another winning streak. Be sure to tune in and see what Luka Doncic can do against the Kings.
