The Dallas Mavericks are hoping to jump into title contention this season as superstar Luka Doncic makes a run at MVP. The 22-year-old is already one of the best players in the league, but Dallas needs more from his supporting cast to make a deep postseason run.

The Mavs hired a new head coach and general manager this offseason. It was a slow start for Nico Harrison as the team re-signed key players and added a few rotation pieces this offseason, but failed to land a marquee free agent. Now, head coach Jason Kidd will have to get the most out of the roster and help them take that next step.

The 2021-2022 season is about to get underway with the Mavericks' first regular season game on Oct. 21 in Atlanta. A new year means a fresh court in Dallas. Fans do not have to worry as the Dirk Nowitzki silhouette is staying, and the Mavs have found a way to honor all of their players in the new design.
