The Dallas Mavericks keep getting better as Luka Doncic improves. The 23-year-old superstar has added something to his game every offseason. After his rookie season, he found new ways to finish with his left hand. Fans also saw him add Dirk Nowitzki’s signature shot and a deadly mid-range game over the last four years.

Doncic was unstoppable during the playoffs. He averaged 31.7 points, 9.8 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 1.8 steals as he led the Mavericks to the conference finals. The Mavs star is arguably the best shot creator in the league. When he goes downhill, defenders have no choice but to help off their man. That leaves a wide-open shooter, and number 77 has the vision to find them.

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban sat down with Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks for a wide-ranging interview that included a question about what Luka is working on his summer. Cuban let Rooks know it is a new move, but he would go no further.

Rooks asked the Mavericks owner about what Doncic was working on this summer, but he was coy with his response.

"Yep, but I can’t tell you. I can’t tell you, but it was crazy what we talked about adding, so we will see. I don’t want to jinx him, but if you see something, and you go, ‘where the hell did that come from’. You’ll know that is what it was."

Fans have already seen a new move from Luka in his lead-up to EuroBasket later this summer, and they were quick to think that is what Mark Cuban was mentioning here. Here is a look at why they may be off, and a look at what else it could be. Luka Doncic having a new move is scary for defenders, but what is it? Here is a closer look.
