The Dallas Mavericks are gearing up for arguably their most important game of the season as they host the Utah Jazz on Sunday night with fourth place in the Western Conference on the line, but guard Jalen Brunson was locked into a different crucial contest on March 26 as his Villanova Wildcats took on Houston in the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament.

Nova was looking to reach the Final Four for the first time since Brunson helped them win a championship in 2018. It was a massive game that grabbed the basketball world’s attention. JB certainly could not miss the contest and his cheering spilled over onto social media.

The 25-year-old fired off a flurry of Tweets in the final moments of Villanova’s 50-44 win over the Cougars. It is the third time in the last six NCAA Tournaments that coach Jay Wright and Villanova have reached the Final Four because the 2020 tournament was canceled by the pandemic. Here is a closer look at Brunson’s Tweets, and why he will be celebrating all weeks ahead of Villanova’s Final Four appearance.

Brunson’s first post of the evening was supporting Villanova guard Justin Moore, who suffered a leg injury in the final moments of the win.

Hopefully, Moore can make a speedy recovery, but the injury did not look good.

JB quickly began his storm of celebration ones. Here is a look at what he had to say during the final moments and following the last buzzer on Saturday night.

Brunson even retweeted some Tweets from fellow Villanova alumni Phil Booth and Eric Paschall before capping the night with one from Justin Moore that fans can see below.

It was a massive night for Villanova, and Brunson was enjoying the celebration. Villanova had reached the final four just three before JB arrived on campus, and now they have made three times since 2016. The Wildcats will be looking to reach the NCAA Finals for the fifth time with a win next Saturday night.

Fans can expect more during their Final Four game. The Dallas Mavericks have off that night during a road trip, so fans know Jalen Brunson will be glued to the television screen during the contest.

Do not forget about tonight’s massive game as the Mavs host the Utah Jazz. Be sure to tune in and enjoy.
