By Noah Weber
28. Vince Carter - 16.0
Vince Carter was only on the Dallas Mavericks for three seasons, but his high-flying dunks and electric 3-point shooting will never be forgotten. The Mavs signed him to a three-year deal after winning the NBA Finals in 2011, and there were plenty of notable moments during Vinsanity's time with the Mavs.
In three seasons with Dallas, Carter averaged 12.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 0.9 steals per game while shooting 41.9 percent from the field and 39.2 percent from downtown. Carter was an effective sixth man for Dallas during this time, and his career sharply declined after he left following the 2014-14 season.
The most memorable moment from Carter's time with the Mavericks was his game-winning buzzer-beater from the corner in game three of the first round of the 2014 NBA Playoffs. Dallas was tied with the Spurs 1-1 before this shot, and this shot will always be remembered as one of the best in Mavs history.
The Mavericks ultimately ended up losing this series, but this was one of the most clutch moments in Mavs playoff history. Carter will always be remembered for this shot, and according to some recent reports, he will be joining the Hall of Fame this summer.
Carter is deserving of this massive honor, and Mavs fans will always remember him being a key piece during the couple of years after the 2011 NBA Finals win.
