6. Winner: Daniel Gafford

New Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford has gone from playing for a team that has won less than 10 games to a team that has won 32 games and could be contending for a title all within the span of a week and a half.

That alone makes him a winner from this year's trade deadline.

In three games for the Mavs this season, Gafford is averaging 15.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game while shooting 61.3 percent from the field. He has been exactly what the Mavs have needed out of a backup big for a long time, and he has been a great fit next to Luka Doncic.

Ever since the first minute that they shared the floor together, Doncic and Gafford have clicked. Gafford started off his Mavericks career with an alley-oop from Doncic, and he hasn't slowed down since.

Former teammate Kyle Kuzma even said that Gafford's job just became so much easier since he came to Dallas.

He just has to be a supporting cast member, and if he rebounds, blocks shots, and catches lobs, he is exactly what the Mavs need. Adding Gafford has arguably been just as impactful as the trade for Washington, and both players look like they will continue to be successful while playing in the blue and white for Dallas.
