1. Trade Tim Hardaway Jr. for a two-way guard

Tim Hardaway Jr. has been in trade rumors for multiple seasons, and it looked like the Dallas Mavericks were going to trade him over the summer. He didn't even know if he'd be back this season, and he started the year off amazingly.

Hardaway Jr. was one of the leading candidates for Sixth Man of the Year to start the year, but his play since the trade deadline has not been great. He has been in and out of a slump for the last two months, and this summer may be the time when Dallas finally moves him.

If Dallas decides to move him, it should be for someone who can defend and knock down open shots. At one point, Hardaway Jr. is someone who was one of the best shooters on the team, but his effect on the game is minimized when he is off from downtown. He also isn't the best defender, and the Mavs need someone who can impact the game on both ends.

Moving Hardaway Jr. may be a move that upsets some Mavs fans, but this summer or next year's trade deadline may be the perfect time. He will be on an expiring contract, and he could increase his trade value tremendously if he can string together some good performances in the playoffs.

Teams are always looking to add shooting, and it wouldn't be a shock if the Mavs shop him this summer.

For all the latest on the Dallas Mavericks for the remainder of the regular season, stay tuned.
