Chicago is 5-5 in their first ten games, but Lonzo Ball is out indefinitely, Zach LaVine’s knee continues to act up, and the team is teetering on the edge. If there is ever a year to tank, it is now.

Would the Bulls take Josh Green and two first-round picks for DeRozan if they decided to tear things down? Their pick is owed to the Orlando Magic this year with just a top four protection, so Chicago would need some lottery luck if they make this move, but it would be maximizing DeRozan’s value to trade him at the deadline.
