7. Bruce Brown

The Dallas Mavericks were a team that was in the running for former free agent Bruce Brown over the offseason, but since he decided to sign with the Indiana Pacers on the first night of free agency, the Mavs didn't have much of a chance at landing him.

But if they are interested still, Dallas could have another chance at landing Brown at this year's trade deadline. Brown was recently traded to the Toronto Raptors as part of the Pascal Siakam trade, and he is someone to keep an eye on in the case that the Raptors want to move him again.

This season, Brown is averaging 12.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 32.7 percent from downtown. Brown has been solid for Indiana, but may not be worth the $45 million he is due over the next two seasons.

Regardless, Brown would be a good fit in Dallas if the Raptors did decide to move him. He is a great defender and a capable shooter off the catch. If acquired by Dallas, Brown would likely take the best guard defensive assignment.

It's unclear if the Raptors will move Brown, but he would be an underrated pickup for the Mavs.
