1. Seth Curry

The final player on this list isn't a defensive wing like most of the other previously listed players, but he is a great shooter that has already played a season with Luka Doncic.

His name is Seth Curry.

Curry played for the Mavericks in the 2016-17 season and again in the 2019-20 season. In his more recent campaign with the Mavs, he averaged 12.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 0.6 steals per game. This is the season that he played with Doncic, and bringing him back likely wouldn't be a huge adjustment for the two.

Curry is a plug-and-play type of player. He would thrive in any system, and his ability to knock down threes consistently will keep him on the floor with whichever team he signs with. The Mavericks would be a great fit for him, and he can play either guard spot.

In Curry's second stint with the Mavericks, he shot a career-high 45.2 percent from three. He was the most consistent shooter on the team that season and would come in and be a shooter off the bench for the Mavs.

Curry's ability to play either guard spot will make him a valuable target on the free agent market. I don't see his value going any higher than the MLE, so if the Mavs really want him, they could probably land him. They would probably want more of a defensive-minded player if they are going to invest that much money into them, but only time will tell.
