1. Teammates will knock down more shots and there will be more space, making his passing more effective

The Mavericks added a slew of both proven and prospective shooters on the perimeter this past offseason in Grant Williams, Olivier-Maxence Prosper, Derrick Jones Jr., and Seth Curry.

Williams and Curry, both proven shooters, will assuredly benefit from the open space provided by Luka this coming season since Doncic will likely be driving and kicking more often with his improved playing shape.

Prosper and Jones Jr. will have a lot more work to do on the proving grounds, but there is hope for both of them that the space provided by Doncic and Irving will lead the way to more open looks where they can get definitively set before their shot.

Regardless of shooting, which Dallas improved marginally upon this offseason, the space that will be created by a fully healthy and explosive Luka will be fun to watch next year.

The Mavericks will hopefully play a little bit faster and get out in transition more, but even their half-court offense could hopefully increase in pace a little.

With Luka getting into actions quicker in the shot clock with his improved stamina after this summer, the Mavericks will have the opportunity to catch opponents off-guard, leaving more chances for the Mavericks to get defenses behind on their rotations.

This, in turn, will pay dividends for Doncic who is one of the best players in the game at diagnosing mismatches for assists, as well as hitting cutters or rollers in stride for easy baskets.

If the Mavericks can cash in on just two more of Doncic's passes a game this year, he could average double-digit assists, and potentially a triple-double which would increase the chance of him winning MVP drastically.

Doncic will not have an easy path to MVP, but with better personnel, more time spent with Kyrie Irving, and a slight stylistic change to his game after getting in great shape this past offseason, Luka has just as good of a chance as ever to win MVP.

We'll have you covered with all the latest news and rumors surrounding the Dallas Mavericks for the rest of this offseason and training camp, so stay tuned.
