1. JaVale McGee

JaVale McGee coming in at the top spot in terms of Dallas Mavericks players who are most likely to be traded before training should come as no surprise. He has been at the center of trade discussions for most of the offseaso

Mcgee is reportedly poised to not be on next year's Mavericks roster under any circumstance, as Marc Stein reported the Mavericks would likely go to the extent of waiving McGee's contract if they couldn't find a trade for him before the offseason ends.

McGee had an extremely underwhelming year for the Mavericks last year, averaging only 4.4 points per game in an extremely limited role that saw him only play 8.5 minutes per game. All the things that made McGee so good In Phoenix and Los Angeles seemingly abandoned him right before he set foot in Dallas.

Rather than being the instant-impact player the Mavericks likely wanted McGee in Dallas, other players quickly surpassed him in Jason Kidd's rotation. And with Dereck Lively Ii also in place next year, there simply won't be a place for him in Dallas next year.

If he's not traded by training camp, he'll be waived, so expect Dallas to attempt to trade him at all costs.
