2. Seth Curry
When the Dallas Mavericks signed Seth Curry, the NBA world was raving about how it had the potential to be one of the most underrated signings of the offseason.
Curry has widely been heralded as one of the best shooters in the NBA, and he was joining Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving in Dallas. No one creates more open looks than Luka, and Curry would be someone who thrives in Dallas.
So far, Curry hasn't lived up to the expectations that were set for him early on by fans, but he is starting to play better. Curry is averaging 4.6 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game while shooting 38.5 percent from downtown. He had an extremely rough start to the season, but his numbers have been climbing since he has been given a regular spot in the rotation as of late.
Curry can officially be moved starting on December 15, but I don't think it's likley that Dallas trades him. Dallas has allready regretted trading him once when they traded him to the Philadelphia 76ers for Josh Richardson a few years ago, and I don't think they'll make that same mistake again.
Curry could be someone Dallas leans on heavily down the stretch to bring a spark off the bench, and the Mavs shouldn't risk losing him again.
