3. Brandon Miller

Last week's rank: 3

Brandon Miller has all but solidified his name to be a lock for First Team All-Rookie. Since the turn of the new year, Miller has dominated and shined while playing for a struggling Charlotte Hornets squad

While Charlotte only has 19 wins on the season, Miller has been a huge reason fans might call this season a success. The Hornets finally have a direction and a player they can confidently build around while sustaining a likely top five pick in this year's upcoming draft.

If the Hornets are going to find any success by next season, it will be critical that Miller take a huge leap and star point guard LaMelo Ball return healthy for a full season. Alongside Ball, Miller and the Hornets had a lot to like despite only playing minimal time together.

Since the beginning of April, Miller has reached a new level of play. In any other normal rookie race, Miller could have competed for a Rookie Of The Year award but unfortunately for him, Victor Wembanyama exists.

Miller still has some time to prove why he is one of the better rookies of his class but with one week left in the regular season, its unlikely that he will make a run at second in voting. Charlotte plays Dallas on their home floor Tuesday night.
