2. Chet Holmgren

Last week's rank: 2

Not a lot has changed in the rookie race between Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren, which is why he will stay at the No. 2 spot this week.

Holmgren has continued to play at an elite level all season long, and it was no different this past week. The Thunder continued on their winning ways, winning their last 3 of four, largely due to what Holmgren has given them weekly.

He has been all over the court and hasn't failed to reach less than 15 points in a game in over two weeks, which is insane for a rookie. Holmgren has also continued to dominate down low, as he has had over ten blocks in the last three games and this is including his zero-block game against the LA Clippers.

Offensively, nothing has changed for Holmgren, as he has continued to score with ease. Not one singular team has yet to find a formula for stopping the second-year rookie. Standing at 7'1, he creates a matchup nightmare for any team, especially when you factor in his dribble package for his size.

One flaw many fans expected out of Holmgren was his lack of strength for his size. This hasn't only been a nonfactor to begin his professional career, but it has also worked in his favor as he has used his athleticism to get around bigger defenders.

Holmgren still needs to build strength, which he has shown he can do. If he can capitalize on every offseason, expect Holmgren to be a star in a few years.
