Mavericks owner Mark Cuban goes viral for heartfelt deed

The Dallas Mavericks were under a big microscope this summer after missing the playoffs for the first time since 2019.

Dallas tanked their final two games of the season, and played awfully down the stretch.

This was the last thing that people expected when the Mavericks traded for Kyrie Irving at the trade deadline, but Dallas' defense wasn't good enough to contend in a stacked Western Conference.

Dallas seems to have revamped their defense, and the roster is looking much better heading into this season.

Although most people will associate Mark Cuban with the fine he had to pay for tanking earlier this offseason, he did something recently that will put a smile on anyone's face.

Cuban collaborated with TikTok star Zachary Dereniowski and Chime to bless a local Dallas business called Curbside Culinary.

The video starts with Dereniowski asking the owners of the food truck if he could trade a Mavericks hat for a plate of food because he didn't have any money. One of the owners accepted the trade, but there was a twist.

Dereniowski actually had money on him but wanted to see if the owner would perform a good deed and help him out. Since they gave him the food, Dereniowski gifted the store with $1,000, and the owner started immediately splitting up the money with the other workers.

But the surprise didn't stop there. Dereniowski brought Cuban with him, and the workers were so excited to see him. Cuban got a plate of their food and offered to bring them out to a Mavs game next season.

This was an awesome gesture by Dereniowski and Cuban as they gave back to a Dallas business and showed some kindness. This wasn't the first time that Dereniowski collaborated with someone with the Mavericks, as he and JaVale McGee made a young fan's day earlier this summer.
