When talking about the Dallas Mavericks' 2011 NBA Finals run, everyone's thoughts immediately shift to Dirk Nowitzki.

Nowitzki was the obvious leader of the team, as he averaged over 27.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game during those playoffs, but the role players that surrounded Nowitzki during that Finals run should never be forgotten.

Players like Jason Kidd and Shawn Marion were elite role players on this team, and the Mavs also had one of the best shooters of all time on the team that hit big three-pointers when they needed it most. He also happens to be facing a lawsuit.

This player is Jason Terry, and according to Priscilla DeGregory of the New York Post, he seemingly stole a $25 thousand watch.

Terry reportedly agreed to buy a Rolex from jeweler Eric Mavachev after renting it to wear in Las Vegas but has since ghosted Mavachev. Terry said he would pay the $25 thousand to Mavachev and never sent him the funds.

The report reads that Mavachev gave Terry 30 days to pay for the fancy watch, but never did.

Mavachev's lawyer, Mark Shirian, said they "are prepared to use all available legal avenues to recover the outstanding payment for the watch."

If this is true, this is an awful look for Terry. He didn't keep his word to the jeweler and could have just returned the watch rather than stealing it.

In Terry's eight seasons for the Mavs, he averaged 16.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 38.8 percent from downtown. He was a fan favorite for his entire tenure in Dallas and is a player that people think of when they think of Nowitzki.

He is also No. 8 on the all-time three-pointers made list with 2,282 made threes. Terry is now coaching for the Utah Jazz, and this situation will hopefully get sorted out by next season.

We'll have you covered with all the latest news and rumors surrounding Jason Terry's potential lawsuit, along with the Dallas Mavericks, so stay tuned.
